Safety is paramount around any body of water. The Applegate pool strives to maintain a safe welcoming environment for all members and guests. When visiting the facility, please respect the space of others and execute caution and care. However, in the event of an emergency, there are appropriate safety devices stored conspicuously around the property.

Applegate Swim Club Pool Rules and Regulations
WARNING: The Applegate Swim Club does not provide a lifeguard at any time. In the event that there is a staff person on the premises, that person is not a lifeguard, and that person does not have any pool safety duties. If you are not a competent swimmer, or are not medically able, you should not use the Pool or be responsible for any other swimmer. Use of the Pool is at the risk of each swimmer and/or responsible adult. Rules and Regulations Subject to Change at Management’s Discretion
GENERAL RULES:
1. There is no lifeguard on duty. All persons using the pool(s) do so at their own risks and responsibility.
2. The pool is for the exclusive use of paid club Members and their guests. Club Members are responsible for the supervision and conduct of their guests.
3. NO DIVING ALLOWED
4. Pool hours are Monday – Sunday 9:00 am to 10:00 pm.
5. Applegate Swim Club (ASC) Management will use its discretion in closing the pool due to inclement weather, maintenance or health-hazard conditions. Proper notice will be given to members for closings during normal pool hours.
6. ASC will not be responsible for loss or damage to personal property. Valuables should not be brought to and/or left at the pool. Overnight storage facilities are not provided.
7. No pets are allowed in the pool area, apart from licensed service animals.
8. Tampering with, misuse of, or defacing of equipment, signage or other ASC property is forbidden. Property damage will be investigated and prosecuted as warranted, with all expenses to restore the damage and any other fees incurred being charged to the responsible Member.
9. Pool Members and their guests may not conduct private parties in the pool area. The interior of the clubhouse may be used for parties if separate paid reservations are made with ASC. Reservations for the clubhouse specifically exclude use of the pool.
10. NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES ARE PERMITTED INSIDE THE POOL WATERS.
11. Alcoholic beverages are permitted in plastic, tin, or other 'non-breakable" containers. Alcoholic beverages may be consumed ONLY by adults of legal age of consumption. Alcohol must be consumed responsibly, outside of the swimming pool. Any member who becomes overly intoxicated, disruptive, permits minor consumption, or commits another infraction while under the influence of alcohol, or any other substance; will have their membership revoked immediately, without question. Responsible, moderate consumption is permitted, safely.
. No glass containers of any kind, sharp items, hazardous materials, weapons or otherwise dangerous objects are permitted in the pool area.
13. Smoking is not permitted on the premises.
14. Profanity and inappropriate conversation are not permitted on the premises.
15. Parents, whether present are not, are responsible for their children’s safety and conduct while using ASC facilities.
16. Any child who is a non-swimmer must be supervised while in the pool by a parent or responsible adult over the age of 16. All children ages 15 years and under must be accompanied by an adult and always supervised in (close) proximity, at all times.
17. Wearable swimming aids, life jackets, “swimmies,” and other strap-on style floats are permitted for children and persons requiring assistance only. Floatation devices for recreational use only are expressly prohibited.
18. No person may enter the pool area in an intoxicated or otherwise incapacitated condition. For the health and safety of others, ARC Management asks that persons with open wounds, communicable diseases and other infectious medical conditions refrain from using the pool until cleared by a medical professional.
19. The pool furniture is not to be removed from the pool area, and no other furniture is allowed in the pool area. If moved, all furniture must be returned to its original location upon departure.
20. The gates and doors to the pool area are to remain closed and locked at all times; they are not to be propped open or otherwise left unsecured. Do not hold the door open for unknown persons or unsupervised children—All members are required to scan their own access key on the panel to gain entry and should not rely on others to allow them into the pool area without a key. Per insurance requirements, only ONE key will be granted per active membership. Any member who loses their key will be required to pay $30 per replacement. At which time, the prior key’s information will be deactivated, rendering it useless for entry. “Pass-sharing” with non-members and households is expressly forbidden.
21. Security cameras will be present in public spaces to provide information on the goings-on at the facility. Security cameras in no way imply safety while swimming. The facility is “swim at your own risk”, and membership will abide by the noted code of conduct within these rules and regulations. Camera footage will be monitored for compliance with such.
22. Pool objects such inner tubes, rafts, other large floatation devises, frisbees, volleyballs and featherweight toys such as Nerf and beach balls are prohibited.
23. No rocks or metal objects are to be used in the pool, as these items can cause damage to the bottom of the pool.
24. Users of the pool area are responsible for removing all articles they bring to the pool (including towels, books, magazines, etc.) at the time they leave the pool area. Abandoned items will be discarded.
25. Failure to comply with any of these regulations may be grounds for revocation of a member’s or guest’s ASC privileges, at Management’s discretion.
26. By signing the Applegate Swim Club Membership application and submitting the annual fee, the applicant agrees to adhere to all rules and regulations spelled out in this document.
27. Pool access cards are permanent and should be kept for usage year-to year. One (1) Pool card will be provided free of charge per household. Replacement cards may be purchased for $30 each in the event of damage/loss. Only 1 card will be issued to each “household” or membership. “Pass-sharing” amongst non-members is expressly forbidden.
